TouchFlow3D for your tilt! OK not exactly, but almost…

closeThis post was published 1 year 4 months 20 days ago which may make its actuality or expire date not be valid anymore. This site is not responsible for any misunderstanding.

I wanted to post this for those of you who are dying for the new touchflow3d or manilla on your tilt. I have been using it for 3 weeks now and its become a replacement for my much loved htc home and cube. The name of the application is Throttle Launcher. Its a great program that can be run from the today screen.

look and feels just like touchflow 3d. The contact images are a little blurry for the people but the the music section actually works great with s2p (slide to play) anouther app which allows you to actually see the covers of the songs in your today screen!! the weather pics are nice too. check out the site http://www.throttlelauncher.com/portal/ there’s even a ROM using it on xda’s site called Gullum IV, i prefer Hyperdragon IIIi personally. enjoy!!

@Phonetastic: Just for future reference, Touchflow is actually spelled TouchFlo. Also, I love Hyperdragon III as well, although I have used Gullum's ROM.

@Keith: Unfortunately, you lose that capability when you download this program. However, there is a shortcut to locking the device under the Comm Manager tab in ThrottleLauncher. As you can imagine, though, this is slower than just going to the today screen and clicking "Device Unlocked". I find that the best solution to locking the device can be found here:

, provided that you're not using Push To Talk.

this looked promising, but i had a lot of freezes and it was xtremely slow, I know you can't complain much when it's free and just one person working on something to help so many people, so i thank you for your efforts on this program and if a new version is released in the near future i will definitely give it another shot. and donate if i use it.

Hey guys..this is great. But I always lock my HTC before putting it in the holster. Anyone know how to put "device lock" on the home page?

    Much appreciated!
  • Okay, donwloaded and installed. Very nice and well thought out app. The downside....

    IT IS FREAKIN SLOOOOOOOOOOW!

Been messing with the settings, I am running Dutty's 4/29 ROM which nothing I use is slow. What a bummer.

HTC DUMP QUALCOMM! Intel Processors are way better!
  • I am drooling regardless of animation! Way cool and great find! Awesome first post Marvin! What took you so long! LOL

Donloading now!!! HURRY UP!!!!! (okay, forgot my meds today!)
  • Unfortunately no the weather app just has really nice pics of the current weather there is no weather animations (at least none I have noticed any. I havent seen it rain yet but I Have seen pics with it containing raindrops but i dont believe they are animated. I cant tell you which version of gullum i downloaded honestly, because I didnt care for it i deleted it from my downloads. I really prefer to use hyperdragon IIIi.

Been looking for something like this for a while. A couple questions- are the weather icons animated like they are on the Diamond (i.e. raindrops/wiper blade)? Are the contacts displayed in the rotating folder icons?

Lastly, what version did you download? (Gullum IV, 0.9.1, 0.9.2, etc.)
