Well I’ve been using the Winterface for almost a week now and it’s cool, but it does have some bugs, or annoyances in it that need to be worked out. It does show promise though that further revisions could make this a very useful and cool interface for your phone.

So far I’ve come across:

1. Incoming call – no caller id

2. Incoming call says ‘incoming voicemail’

3. Can’t navigate interface correctly, no wrap around, must go through pages to get to last one instead of moving one to the left to get to last page

4. Phone lock is weird, have to push power button, I would rather just tap screen as I normally do

5. Autostarts when shut down, that’s annoying

6. Sometimes when phone is locked, I have to ’slide to unlock’ and still use the standard unlock phone buttons

7. Battery icon goes to ‘Sliding sounds’

8. Lock goes to ‘password settings’

9. Contacts not listing full names

That’s some of my observations I can recall right now, I’ll have a full critique next week in review format..
