I would say that if you have the plugin for mp4 for tcpmp I would encode in that, matched quality file sizes are the same, so you can do better quality at less space taken up. Also tcpmp handles them pretty good, I encode them for my lifedrive (I’m considering a tilt right now) and it handles pretty decent quality files easily even though the lifedrive doesn’t have the best speeds.

I’m using Pocket DVD Studio 4.0 I’ve had this program for a couple of years when I had a Palm. I recently ripped Batman Begins and Spider-Man 3, both around the 300-350mb range. It rips in about a little over half the running time of the movie. Plays and sounds great using TCPMP.
