tiltthumb As Chris mentioned this morning, this is going to be my last post on TiltSite. I have decided to Resign as “whatever my title was” and move on to another project. This is very difficult as TiltSite was something I was involved in from the get go. I put a lot of time and effort into it. To add salt to the the wound, yesterday was the biggest day in TiltSite history for visitors. So regardless, I must have been doing something right!

So where am I going? I have decided to create my own website and continue blogging, reviewing, and much much more. I am very excited about this new project and I think it will be a success. It has always been very important to me to create an atmosphere where everyone felt comfortable. No flaming, and where questions, even redundant get answered. As a Mobility Enthusiast, the greatest disservice we can do, is turn people off who are looking to enter into the world of Pocket PC Devices, most notably the AT&T Tilt and HTC TyTN II. This new website will focus not only on news, but making the difficult more understandable, and hopefully appealing to anyone who stops by. So with that, I cordially invite you to stop by the website called Tilt Mobility. We are already posting new material including a new “ROM Flashing Video” by Tyler Earman. We will continue with lots of videos and instructional content. So come on by and check us out and add us to your RSS Reader!

Thanks again to everyone!

I think I speak for everybody when I say we thank you and will continue to support you with the new site

So what is going to be the difference between the two sites? I see 3 repeats of topics and a few new things...
  • No divorce for you two... I will probably just mash up your RSS feeds for the hell of it.

(and when I do I'll let everyone know...)

Good luck with the new site, Doug!

Tiltsite and Tiltmobility should so have a softball game.

I appears that I now have TWO sites that I must regularly check. I hope that both sites keep up the momentum and stay equally wealthy in their stock of information.

Doug will be missed, he did a ton for this site as well and was a great help to all the Tilt users out there. I wish Doug the best in his new venture.

Doug, I saw this post pass through my RSS feed (I do try to follow even though I have had alot going on the last few months)....and I stopped in my tracks. Say it isn't so!!

"Whatever your title was"? Doug you are/were the site! It was your idea (wasn't it?) Over 300 posts? Honestly, I thought you had convinced Chris a long time ago to turn the site over to you! This was your baby...you kept it going over the past year...and you have done a great job with it!!

I know..."Life moves on" (or so they say)... I wish you all the best on your new project. The site WILL NOT be the same without you...you will be sorely missed!!
