How Often do you Buy a New Phone?

Yesterday I was pondering the future of Tilt and if there would ever be a real "Tilt 2". I have been also thinking about average consumers and how often they buy a new phone. I am fortunate enough to get to play with loaners, I can also afford to drop the coin on a phone whenever I want, and there are a couple phones I get from Microsoft or a manufacturer than I get to keep to. That said, I am not the average consumer and my 6+ vote isn’t a true reflection of what we have out there in the real world. So, how often do you buy a new phone?
