		<description>this kind of cools the iphone hubris.  the vertical integration has been a real strength for apple - a single software platform that needs to only support only two hardware models (iphone v1 and v2) delivered through a completely controlled medium - and yet apple is having difficulty with platform stability.

then again, how many updates do 95% of winmo devices ever get in their use-life?  maybe none?  so we can&#039;t say winmo devices do any better - they just don&#039;t get updated, let alone several times in a few months.</description>
