Hi guys,
The ProClip product is fantastic. So much so that we have been the exclusive distributors for Australia, New Zealand and Singapore for Brodit (the manufacturer in Sweden) since 2000.
We were not able to use "ProClip" down here, as the name had already been registered, so the product is rebadged as ClicOn in our markets.
It has been a challenge to build a new brand for a product that already has a great reputation with its original name, but we are doing it proud.
I just wanted to make you aware of www.holdmyphone.com.au so that you may consider buying "locally" in future.
Best regards,
Robin

Hi guys, this also happens alot here in New Zealand, and when I had the Window mounted system I had to keep taking it down because of the same reason theft, but in saying that alot of people over here still leave their mounting brackets in their cars (some even leave their devices in the car also...) in the open.

However I have found that in my case with the Proclip version it is further down on my console that it is hidden from plain view, and with most cars having up to 3 clip areas then not all are going to be that out in the open.

I also find it is easier to take off my Proclip version then my old windscreen one it always seemed to leave a mark on the windscreen were the suction cup was...

Cheers Guys thanks for the feed back.

You're not paranoid - in my area, Police are reporting higher incidence of car break-ins due to empty device "cradles" - the thieves assume the "missing" device is in the glove box, center console, under the seat, etc. and break-in to find the device.

ProClip mounts certainly aren't the least expensive of device mounts, but they are excellent and well tailored for many vehicle types. A couple months ago I got a mount for my Advantage and I love it, especially its rotational adjustability. Downside is that I wish I could more easily remove portions of the mount so that when my vehicle is sitting in a parking lot it doesn't advertise my having a mobile device/gps, but maybe I'm just being a bit paranoid.
