For those of you who are using Skype, here is some good news. There is a an update for all Windows Mobile 6.1 users. Now granted, AT&T has once again choose to be the LAST carrier to update their users, but at least when it does roll out, there will be an updated Skype Version for us.
For those who don’t know about Skype, Skype is a VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) application that allows you to talk, and video talk (If we had a front facing camera! Our TyTN II brothers can) over the Internet. For me, I don’t really use it all that much if at all because mobile to mobile is free, and I do not have a 3G Speedy Network in the Sticks where I live.
But it is a really neat program to take a look at. So try it out and let us all know what you think! I just loaded it on my Tilt running a custom 6.1 ROM and everything seems to be working fine. When I get to a WiFi area I will do some more testing with it.
