I ran the ROM on another older PC and the wizard opened right up. At first I thought it might have been XP Service Pack 3 so I uninstalled it but the RUU still would not open. Then I realized that I downloaded the ROM on the other computer using IE6. My PC Has Firefox 3. Somehow downloading a file with Firefox is not the same as downloading it with IE?! Never had that problem before with Firefox and I'm pretty sure I won't ever again. So yeah if you have troubles running the 6.1 upgrade and you hate IE like I do, you're just going to have to suck it up. Anyone out there download it with Firefox and still get it to work?
