Will we ever see another device called the Tilt? Tilt 2?

Just a thought while talking with a fellow webmaster today…

There are rumors swirling around on what might replace the AT&T Tilt down the road over even around the corner. The problem that I see is that there are no devices that have been announced, leaked, or otherwise rumored to come to AT&T that have a Tilting screen. If that is the case, how can we call anything the AT&T Tilt 2?

Sure, there are phones coming that will replace the Tilt, but I seriously doubt that we’ll see another “AT&T Tilt”. What do you think?

I do see the current AT&T Tilt having a long life span though. The Tilt is widely used and I see more and more people using them around town each day. When you are spoiled like me and see new devices with regularity, you often forget that the consumer isn’t upgrading their phone 5-6 times a year.

  • I don't doubt at all that a device will replace the Tilt over at AT&T;, but I do doubt we'll see the Tilt name on another.

I'm still hoping that AT&T will "tilt" the keyboard/screen on whatever new HTC device they come out with. It's such a great feature.

I don't know if the brand Tilt will continue but i could see a phone/laptop hybrid. cellphones will get faster and more powerful and laptops will get smaller so i think the form factor will live on. my question is how meny people use this feature now?
