It’s been a while since I got a chance to share info about Velocity Mobile. If you remember, I was quite excited about a new Windows Mobile handset maker jumping into the market back in April. Since then the Velocity Mobile 103 hit the FCC but still hasn’t surfaced since then.

Today, I caught a story over at Phone Arena showing some info about Velocity’s own interface called Odyssey. It’s fairly simple and HTC-like, but it’s good to see customizations to the Windows Mobile standard UI coming out on some of these devices.

Our interface is designed with purpose, not just to look cool. Its designed to look and feel familiar, to have interactions that you are used to and provide features that meet specific or multiple needs all optimized to the form factor of the device.

Best of all, its updatable over the air – so no matter where you are or which device you have, you can enhance your velocity experience on the go.
