I like the device, but the software sucks. Basically I have not advanced beyond version 1.3 because they removed a key feature, the rating system. I have dozens of play lists that are automatically created based on ratings and genre. I tried the newer software and got really frustrated over the loss oif kjey features that were replaced by features that I really did not care about. So why get rid of it? because I have had to reload the software several times when the library list on the left side of the screen disappears for some unknown reason and I cannot navigate between my device lists and my library lists. When I reload, ratings are dropped and other issues must be corrected. I am nearly ready to dump my Zune. I like the device, but the software sucks.
