Until you can use this tech to stand at the door of the mall and remotely drive your Lexus out of the multi-level parking lot to pick you up, I am unimpressed.

As long as this is downloadable, not bloatware, it’s cool.

However, you can probably open a garage door already. I used an X-10 remote and a Universal Module to do something similar in the early 90s. I’ve seen X-10 control programs for Windows Mobile, so it wouldn’t surprise me if you could make something work.
