I took a time management course years ago that gave me a planner binder (I don&#039;t think it was Franklin, though).  I kept my appointments in it for a year or two, but eventually gave up when I got Lotus Planner (or whatever it was called).

However, making notes about past appointments to reconstruct your week can be vital, especially if you&#039;re somebody who has to account for your time (contractors, lawyers, etc.).

Of course, I now use Outlook and Windows Mobile, but really, it is often quicker to write something down in a binder than to enter it in my PDA.
