Zach over at the Boy Genius Report posted earlier about the BlackBerry Bold being added to AT&T’s FREE WiFi list but now an update to Zach’s post indicates that apparently AT&T’s free WiFi now applies to all smartphones.  Cool!

Supposedly this was the plan…so check it out at your nearest Starbucks and let us know if the free WiFi deal is working for you!

  • This would be interesting. Currently I do go to Starbucks and once you use your Starbucks card at least once a month, you can get 2 hours of AT&T wi-fi access per day. So I am curious if you can go past the 2 hour limit and by how much. Currently though I have used the wi-fi there for about 2 1/2 hours and no disconnection, so who knows.

hmmm...Ima have to check this out.
  • I'm not a Starbucks coffee drinker either(I prefer Panera Bread or HoneyDew) but I would give it a try.

I've never had any use for Starbucks, but now, if I am able to get on free wifi there, it might be worth a trip. I'll try it out and see.
