Last I checked, Microsoft (not one of their vendors) has never given the world a date for WM7 anyhow, so who cares.

A lot of people. I don’t see why Microsoft’s schedules matter to when we want something. :D

Consider it this way. Suppose you loaned me $100, and I promised to pay it back. If you run into me next month and I tell you that I never gave you a specific date to pay you back, would you be OK with that?

The fact is that there have been leaks about WM 7, at least one vendor made comments about its availability, and we can see how people are saying WM has lost its advantage compared to the iPhone and Android.

So it does matter. But, if it only matters what Microsoft says, why did you post this? ;)

Either way, Moto CEO, Sanjay Jha, let the cat out of the bag that there is possibly something between 6.1 and 7.0 on the way.

There had been rumors of something well before Jha made his comments, except that was WM 6.2. I assumed it would basically include IE Mobile 6.

So now I wonder if we’re going to have 6.2, 6.5 and 7 or just 6.5 and 7.
