No, we have nothing to share yet but Dieter does. Yep, Dieter over at WM Experts has gotten his hands on the new  AT&T Fuze. It seems he is just now getting the phone and  his initial impression is: Impressed.

agree with the other tilt users here. guy at att store let me play with his for about 35 minutes (he's had it for 2 months and doesn't like it...but he didn't seem very techy to me). i must say, didn't expect it to be that small. next to my tilt, the screen scared my large fingers. another concern is, he said that in areas where he gets great 3G connection with att wifi card and other phones, the fuze wasn't so strong (maybe radio needs upgrading). i think i'm going to keep my tilt with cooked rom and touchflo 2d until htc touch HD comes out, or unless that disappoints as well. thats my two cents.

@James: I never upgraded to 6.1 (wasn't interested in having to reinstall everything). Instead I finally downloaded HTC Home, which made my Tilt feel like a brand new device. I too am sticking with the Tilt.

I am not really feeling The Fuze. Smaller is not always good. The Tilt keyboard is small enough, I can't get any smaller than that. Also..I am not impressed with the size of the screen. It looks smaller than the Tilt screen. I can see myself getting fustrated with slidding my fingers across that small screen. I have decided to just keep on using my Tilt until something comes better than The Fuze. I hope the when Microsoft decided to release an update for Windows Mobile, they will release one that is better than 6.1. I truly believe that the 6.1 software caused a downfall of the Tilt.

Id almost rather switch to sprint and get the Real touch pro just to spite ATT for messing up the keyboard. I looked at a dummy display at Bestbuy, its smaller than i expected, but i also dont want to be forced into a data plan. Still debating.

So I went to AT&T yesterday and when I walked in I asked the guy if he could show me the model and he was like, " Uhhhhh its not out yet...", and he had a smirk on his face, so I told him that I knew he had one in the back, so he got it. Yes guys, I actually touched the Fuze. Well, it was a model, but still, it was pretty chill, especially the back that's shaped like a diamond. The only thing is that the screen and keys are kind of small. One of my best friends has the G1 and I thought that the screen and keys would be comparable, but it lacks in that area. And thinking about it now, my friend bought her G1 for like $300. So yeah, the size of everything kind of underwhelms me but I'm still gonna buy it on tuesday. THREE MORE FREAKING DAYS!!!

I'm really not convinced that it's necessary to upgrade to the Fuze. Sure, it has a VGA screen and Touchflo 3d, but I'm fine with HTC Home. Also, no tilting screen, not nearly enough buttons to remap, worse keyboard, and slightly smaller screen. I saw the Diamond at a Sprint store a couple of weeks ago and wasn't impressed. I know small is good, but that's probably only true for thickness, not for height and width (see iPhone). The Diamond just seemed kind of puny. And then putting a think keyboard on the bottom--it just doesnt seem like it would look or feel like a real power device. I plan to wait it out until the next generation. But that's just me.
