Huh? What is that? One of the readers looking for info about the Fuze and when it’s actually going to be launched, found this

Mail-in Rebate requirements:
Mail-in rebates for certain devices require activation on a qualified rate plan or data feature as explained below.
Mail-in rebate requires activation on up to a $35 per month data or messaging plan:

Pantech C530 (Slate) Pantech C740 (Matrix) Samsung A767 (Propel) AT&T GTX75 (Quickfire)

Requires activation on a PDA Personal Plan or a $45 or highter PDA data rate plan or a $20 or higher messaging plan plus an AT&T Voice Plan of $39.99 or higher:

AT&T Tilt™ HTC P4600 (Fuze) LG CT810 (Incite) Motorola Q9 Global Palm® Treo™ 750 Pantech C810 (Duo) Samsung BlackJack™ Samsung BlackJack™ II Samsung i907 (Epix) “

When is it going to be launched? Who knows, we’ve posted the rumored dates a couple times, most have come and gone. I give up. I don’t think it’s going to be tommorow though.

Thanks Alastria!

  • Got mine yesterday. It rox. They tried to sell me the iphone as well.

I use microsoft voice command on my older HTC wizard and that's what swayed the bar toward the Fuze. You have to take out your phone and open up some app. on the iphone in order to use thier voice dialing capeabilities. Voice command you just hit your button on your bluetooth and talk. Cake while driving or working.

Amazon has a very nice upgrade plan for the phone... 2 weeks :-)

i have it and it's hot. traded the 750 treo for the htc tilt and traded the htc tilt for the fuze and i LOVE it

Excuse me, I meant to say the Fuze will be released on November 11th. You'll have to pardon my lack of date and time awareness. This is my 7th night at work in a row.

The AT&T corporate store in Conway, AR said the Fuze will be released today. When I inquired about the Fuze, they downplayed it's capabilities and tried to sell me an iPhone 3G instead.

    ATT store*

I was in a AT corporate store today I was shown the dummy for the fuze and also he said it is going to be released on Nov. 11th!!!!

The Fuze's launch date is 11/11 from a VERY reliable source.
  • nate
i talked to someone at at&t today, and it's coming out on novemer 11th. exactly one week after the blackberry bold came out on november 4th.

    :)

The salespeople in my local store have had Fuzes since an Oct 23rd rollout event!
  • finch
I talked to an AT&T employee the other day and they said their HTC rep came and told them about a new phone. no release date, but they said it's usualy not to long after.
  • Mike
Well the quikfire was leaked to have a release date of November 10th so one can keep their fingers crossed! Sadly my salesperson family member at AT&T still knows nothing about the Fuze/p4600 whatever they call it.
  • Jack
If you look on the ATT site the fuze has nothing to do with the Tilt. The original post is misleading. It should be listed as such:

    AT&T Tilt™
    HTC P4600 (Fuze)
    LG CT810 (Incite)
    Motorola Q9 Global
    Palm® Treo™ 750
    Pantech C810 (Duo)
    Samsung BlackJack™
    Samsung BlackJack™ II
    Samsung i907 (Epix) “

    Thus two separate phones.
  • Alastria
That's what AT&T is also referring to the Fuze as, "the new Tilt", even though it doesn't tilt like, well, the Tilt. If you look at the format of all the other phones on the rebate page, you'll see they're all manufacturer name, then the AT&T name in parenthesis.
  • andrew
whats this about? the Tilt has nothing to do with the fuze, look at the list, the fuze is posted below the tilt.
  • Richard
It's not tomorrow, but it IS soon. When I went to the store earlier to check on the Bold launch tomorrow, I found an employee carrying a Fuze!! Much nicer than the Sprint version, black chrome and frequently used symbols across the top row of keys with an embedded numeric pad.
