A few days ago I commented about the Celio Redfly adding support for BlackBerrys. I came across that bit of information first while researching to purchase a Celio RedFly myself and then while I’ve been …

Do you Black Friday?

First off, I didn’t post a bunch of Black Friday info here leading up to today. The reason why is that there are great sites that cover Black Friday in obscene depth. I’ll leave that to them.

I had to work on Black Friday, so I didn’t get out there. Even if I didn’t, I don’t think I would have done it anyhow. Do you get out there an get the deals early?

Did you get out in the “Real” Stores on Black Friday?

If scored on Black Friday, tell us about it, what did you get? What was your best savings? I hear that someone had a $99 Wii today.

I stayed home and bought a new MacBook for my son and a replacement Nano for myself (my 3 year old 1G's battery is starting to last less and less) from Apple.com. We were visiting family and it took me less than 15 minutes before I went to bed rather than an hour+ trip to the nearest Apple store.

I went out but the deals I wanted were either over or sold out. I bought my daughter a couple of things, though, so that was OK.

I don't know if it was/is available online, but I think Sears was selling a 46" Sharp 1080p LCD for $899. I paid that for my 37" Samsung and 42" Philips.

I saved 100% (like many folks) by staying home. Black Friday is ridiculously stupid. Save your money, save your sanity, and stay home. If ya want a good deal and not waste your time and patience, shop on Cyber Monday!
