With my deepest apologies, I have decided to take these sites offline. I had been forwarding Tiltsite to Fuzesite and now I am forwarding them both to Mobilitysite. You will have to read on past the break for why I chose to do this, but before I do, let me tell you how things will play out. I will continue to post Tilt and Fuze news and info along with other items we cover at Mobilitysite. Your RSS feed for Tiltsite and Fuze site has been updated to reflect only Tilt and Fuze news. You don’t need to do anything, the URL stays the same. The content has all been ported over here so you can find a post you might want to revisit. Read on for more…

Tiltsite came along when a former Mobilitysite writer asked me if I could do a site for just the Tilt. I’ve put sites online before on a specific device (Aximsite, iPodsite, PSPsite, etc) and I learned some lessons from this. The lesson is that I tend to spread myself too thin. Ever since launching Aximsite almost 5 years ago, I’ve spread myself too thin on numerous occasions. I really didn’t want to do that again, but Doug was a super guy and he talked me into it. We launched Tiltsite. My intention was to have a place where we could post Tilt news, tips, etc and use Mobilitysite’s forums for continued discussion. Doug eventually wanted more for Tiltsite and moved on. I tried to post items that Tilt owners might want to read. Since I was no longer using my Tilt and I’ve never been into ROMs and heavy modding, I had little to offer. About that time, one of our readers, Josh registered Fuzesite for me to keep it in the family. I decided to forward Tiltsite to Fuzesite and cover both devices since I had the Fuze incoming.

I have decided not to buy a Fuze. The Fuze is a wonderful phone, but I am liking the Treo Pro right now. (actually, I am using the LG Incite right now, but back to the Pro soon) Let’s be honest. You don’t need to read news and hope from tips from someone that isn’t even using the device. I change phones too often to be passionate about one specific device these days. I am also fairly sure that you guys don’t want to read posts that are just repostings of the great work XDA Devs are doing. That said, I really have very little to offer either group of users (Tilt or Fuze) other than news about them and that’s not enough to keep the blog up.

I am truly sorry for letting you guys down here, but in the long run, this is better for all of us. Thanks for your continued support. You are more than welcome to continue following our Tilt/Fuze posts via this RSS Feed though. It might not have much, but there should be some things to share on occasion. You are also more than welcome to jump in the forums to our Fuze or Tilt sections.

Thanks again. This should make it easier for me to focus on Mobilitysite. Stay tuned for our huge 5th Birthday Celebration Contests too. We’re looking at more than 5 Phones so far and much more.

You're the man Chris. We appreciate all that you've done and are able to do. Your decision is definitely understandable. Thanks!

I never was able to figure out how Chris can run these sites, fill them with so much meaty content, keep testing and adapting to new devices, and I believe he works for a living too? Knowing when to let go of projects is a talent too. Thanks for real professional leadership here.
