The phones are roughly the same size (Epix = boxier; Treo Pro curved). Both sport a 320x320 screen res, similar sized screen, same amount of Ram/Rom... BUT the Epix has a 624mhz processor. Coming from a Blackjack I really liked the Epix. The Optical mouse is a godsend for using the phone one handed and web surfing. The flaw is the Optical Dpad doesn't allow scrolling (Press and hold). While not a problem in the OS, it does limit playing games. The Optical mouse does allow for GREAT speeds navigating the phone's software. I found myself using the optical sensor's mouse function with one hand while using the other hand for TouchFlo (FTouchSL) finger scrolling and screen taps. Everything could have been perfect if they designed a "ring-like" d-pad AROUND the optical sensor where as to offer the best from both worlds.
