		<description>I read this about a month ago, and I&#039;m not sure how much I believe it.  However, I found this pundit&#039;s opinion interesting:

&lt;blockquote&gt;[Jack] Gold took a more negative view of a possible deal. He said there is simply no strategic fit for Microsoft to buy RIM.

He doubts that Microsoft would want to buy a company that makes hardware that doesn&#039;t run Windows Mobile.&lt;/blockquote&gt;
Apparently Mr. Gold hasn&#039;t heard that Microsoft bought Danger.

And, by the way, what hardware &quot;doesn&#039;t run Windows Mobile&quot;?  Does RIM use a different processor than WM supports?
