Diamond (particularly without a custom XDA-Devs ROM, without any video optimizations) to the QVGA(!) Asus when it comes to video playback performance. The Diamond isn't so much slower because of the slower CPU but because of the messed-up firmware and the VGA. That is, I'm pretty sure another, better-optimized, even VGA Pocket PC or phone would have fared far better than the Diamond. No point in comparing the VGA (!) Diamond (particularly without a custom XDA-Devs ROM, without any video optimizations) to the QVGA(!) Asus when it comes to video playback performance.
