I know many of you already know that I have a soft heart and love to organize a little charity donation work. I haven’t done anything in a while. I love helping out the Red Cross, but a new chance to help hit my inbox recently and I want to help. I talked with Graham Skee over at Anything Buy iPod and he was already onboard, so I am going to match his generous donation myself and also call on our readers to consider helping too.
TheTechLounge is organizing a $25,000 drive to donate to Toys for Tots. They are giving away prizes to donators. In addition, I will give some prizes in coordination with our Birthday contests to those that help too.
There will be 2 ways to Win just for helping the cause…
The 1st way is to head over to the website and donate in increments of $5. For every $5 donated, you get 1 chance at the raffle they are having.
…ends on December 31, 2008 and all proceeds will be donated to Toys for Tots. To enter, you must make a donation via Paypal on this page. For every $5.00 USD donated, you will receive one chance to win a prize ($25 = 5 entries); you may enter an unlimited amount of times. To be eligible, you must be at least 18 years of age and a legal resident of the fifty (50) United States or Canada (exluding Quebec).
TheTechLounge is also raffling off 80 prizes including a Custom Gaming rig for those that donate.
The 2nd way to win is to head over to TheTechLounge and donate any amount to the cause. Then come back to this thread and leave a comment stating that you have done your part. I will choose 5 people to win an Illium Software Prize package. I will require verification of your contribution to avoid dishonesty as well. This was slated to be given away in our Birthday contests, but I am sure the great folks at Illium won’t mind redirecting the contest.
