I'm also experiencing this trouble of missing the today plugins in TF3D, so
I put up a petition to integrate the possibility of using today plugins into TF3D.

Please sign "give us back the today plugins: http://www.gopetition.com/online/28854.html

Thanks

I like his applications, I used his BatteryStatus app on my MDA. And SecondToday is no different, it's a great app and it can still be used in conjunction with the following alternative which gives you similar functionality using the original Today screen which allows for using the Tray on the Today screen. On SecondToday the only thing that uses it's Tray is the replacement for Battery Status, HomeScreen PlusPlus UI. If you haven't checked it out, check out Manila Control at:

It strikes me that this type of tweaking and farting around with third party software is a big reason why we winmobile users prefer it so much over other operating systems -- it wouldn't be half as fun if we couldn't mess with it!

Of course messing with it leads to unfortunate things as well, like bricked units! :)
