Addressing new market segments is a legitimate business goal.  Maybe some people want a smaller phone and Apple is addressing that.

The quest for smaller devices isn&#039;t new, in general or with Apple.  Look at the iPod Mini, Nano and Shuffle; the Mac Mini; the MacBook Air and so on.

An iPhone Nano may not be what you want, or even very exciting, but maybe it&#039;s exactly what some customers do want.
