2007-11-20-christmaspile1 According to Amazon.com, these are the top 10 bestselling gadgets as Christmas Eve arrives.

1.  Kindle: Amazon’s Wireless Reading Device
2.  Flip Video MinoHD Camcorder, 60 Minutes (Black)
3.  Canon PowerShot A590IS 8MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom
4.  Apple iPod touch 8 GB (2nd Generation)
5.  Canon PowerShot SD770 IS 10MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom (Silver)
6.  Garmin nüvi 760 4.3-Inch Widescreen Bluetooth Portable GPS Automobile Navigator
7.  TomTom ONE 125 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator
8.  Apple iPod touch 16 GB (2nd Generation)
9.  Sony BDP-S550 1080p Blu-ray Player
10.  Apple iPod nano 8 GB Black (4th Generation)

Looks like a good Christmas for Canon and Apple.

Anyone have any favorites off this list? I certainly wouldn’t whine if I unwrapped any of these for Hannukah, but the MinoHD or the Kindle would cause special rejoicing.

By day a department manager and writer for a major network device vendor...by night Zealot stalks the mean magnetic streets, striking fear into the hearts of bandwidth abusers and theme park mascots. Zealot has been involved with mobile devices for more than a decade now, starting off with dumb phones, moving to PDAs and then to smartphones, notebooks and netbooks with the odd PMP thrown in. Most of his mobile time currently is spent on a Treo Pro, Zune HD, Thinkpad T61, Gigabyte M912M or a Hackintoshed Compaq Mini 704. He proudly groks the Geek community and considers himself a Neo Maxi Zune Dweebie (thanks Will Wheaton!).
