Android for Netbook

According to this site in 2010 we could be seeing a Netbook running Android and to prove it they have installed it in an Asus Eee.

The fact that various OHA partners have already developed Android enough to easily work on our netbook may be considered evidence enough that Google is getting increasing buy-in from industry players to realize this vision. We found two additional indicators that technology is being developed in this direction.

  • An Android/Chrome based Netbook OS makes perfect sense to me, as it would be slim, netentric and make good use of 3G Cloud computing.

    I am hoping for similar possibilities from the new spate of Cloud OSes, the upcoming Pal Nova and specialized builds of Windows 7.

    2009 is going to be very interesting.
