I saw this Mobile case today, which looks a like the Magneto helmet…

Magneto is a powerful mutant, with the ability to generate and control magnetism, Magneto, is the X-Men’s most prominent enemy.

Interesting to say that Magneto was also the codename of… (surprise surprise) Windows Mobile 5!

Ha. I bet you didn’t know that!

As written in Wikipedia:

Windows Mobile 5.0, originally codenamed “Magneto“,[7] was released at Microsoft’s Mobile and Embedded Developers Conference 2005 in Las Vegas, May 9–May 12, 2005. Microsoft plans to offer mainstream support for Windows Mobile 5 through October 12, 2010, and extended support through October 13, 2015.”

(I promise you will not read this one in any other mobile blog…)

(OK, maybe just in the Mobile Spoon…)

  • Hey, I'll take it. I'd love to play with Android to see what got the Phandroid phans' panties in a bunch people so excited.

You already know I don't do much with it... :-)
  • I knew that Magneto was the code name for some Windows Mobile release, but would have had to guess which one. So I'm going to say you lose the bet, Gil. What do I win? ;-)
