Happy New Years to everyone! Darren made a great post yesterday already, but today I am bringing the New Years in by sharing the winners of a lot of the contests we had going for our 6th Birthday. Before I share, I want to congratulate one of our readers, Katy. She got a one liner in a USA Today article yesterday about the Zune Issue.
“I’m just miserable without it,” says Katy Bertoldi, a 35-year-old accountant in Baltimore who has stored 3,500 songs and a couple hundred personal photos on her Zune. “It’s personal. I’m upset right now.”
On to the show… We have a bunch of prizes to dish out today. I am going through all the entries right now and had I not kept up with the replies for the last couple weeks, this would take all day. Read on to find out who won all the goodies…
So, unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’d know that we have many prizes to announce winners of right now. I am going list them all here in one post. If you are one of the winners, please contact me at chris(at)mobilitysite.com with the subject line stating “Contest Winner – X Item“. This will make it much easier to administer. Make sure to read the end of this post for some info too.
- Dell Axim X51 (Donated by Dell) – The winner is alohatech. Thanks for all the memories in the contest thread. I really have enjoyed all this fun here!
- HTC Surprise (Donated by HTC) – The winner is webbahboy. Although his entry wasn’t the randomly selected winner, Breley had the cutest reply to the question, well not the cutest, his diagram is just pro.
- HP iPAQ 910 (Donated by HP) The winner is Jake_Speed. Congrats!
- Microsoft Zune 120 (Donated by Chris) – The winner is desilva. His randomly picked entry, #19, was picked because of the level of my WoW character. He said he wanted a red one, but that might be a problem now. Since this contest was launched, the blue and red Zune 120s were removed from Zune Originals. We shall see.
- HTC Touch Diamond US Edition (Donated by Microsoft) – The winner is PLATNUIM. He posted some nice tips about the LG Vu, which is what my daughter uses and loves too.
- Sprint Palm Centro in Olive (Donated by Palm) – The winner is Geek4life.
- AT&T Eternity (Donated by Samsung) – The winner is Mackenzie. My father’s birthday was this month and I chose his birth year as the winner entry number, 1952.
- Sprint High Note (Donated by Samsung) – The winner is heybhouse.
- Sony Walkman 4gb (Donated by Chris) – The winner is XD1936. This contest was a secret Twitter contest. This one didn’t go over as well as I hoped though.

I want to thank everyone that entered contests. I wish I could have given away something to everyone, but unfortunately I can’t. Too bad I can’t give away a Fuze a day for 120 days, huh?
Thanks again!
Winners, make sure to email me (no PMs please). Subj: Contest Winner – X Prize. Thanks! For items that must be shipped (including the 5 cases.com winners) please include mailing address, phone number, and any other info you feel I might need. Thanks. I am headed to CES next week, but I am going to try to get everything out before that. Many of the items will be shipped from me, but some are coming from the donors.
