Dream G2 –made in China

Androidguys has found a video of what seems to be the HTC Dream G2 with Android.

 

Apparently it’s loaded with the cupcake version of Android because you can see a few very nice additions like video recording, Google tools, etc. The phone seems more responsive than the G1 and the design looks a lot better.  

Note: My mistake, I thought when I read it for the first time that was something made by HTC.

    1. “dream” is an htc codename
    2. htc’s “leaked” roadmap shows a “dream-like” “hero”
    3. that stylus looks plastic, which most likely means the screen is resistive = fail unless you don’t plan to sell it here
    4. which means, the device isn’t meant to be sold here = G2 naming scheme makes no sense = chinese mock up

    I really don´t know but I liked what I saw in both, hardware and software.

    This phone was not built by HTC, nor is it being sold by HTC. It’s from a chinese manufacturer called “Sciphone”.

    Anyway there are stuff on that Android that I would like to have in my G1, that´s for sure!

    the phone is not even running android it is just simulated to look like Android.
