Windows 7 Beta Kicks Off Early– For Some of Us
This post was published 9 months 29 days ago which may make its actuality or expire date not be valid anymore. This site is not responsible for any misunderstanding.
Interested in trying out the bleeding edge of Windows?
If so then you want to download the Windows 7 beta, but do it fast as Microsoft is only allowing 2.5 million downloads of the new OS. If you have a TechNet or MSDN account you can get it already…as for the rank and file we all have to wait until tomorrow, Friday, January 9.
The following points are worth noting before you dedicate the time and bandwidth to downloading the software…
- You’ll need to be upgrading from Vista SP1, so XP devotees (like myself) need not apply.
- As this is a beta, do NOT run this as the sole OS on your sole PC. If you do, that’s your own problem.
- The beta will expire in August, and then you’ll have to buy a copy of Windows OS, just like the rest of us.
