bluetooth So you may have asked if you read my previous post, is there a quick way to enable/disable bluetooth as well?  And of course the answer is yes.  Like the WiFi, you can have it on the Start Menu but for me that is not as much as a priority.  If I am using bluetooth, it will be on for a while but when I want it off, I want to access it quickly.

It does save me one “click” by having it in Programs.  But remember, once you launch it, pressing Start with show the recently used icons at the top.  It often is still there thus saving me additional clicks.  It is worth having …..

You can find it here at xda-developers

  • It turns Bluetooth off with a single touch (and also does the same for WIFI, GPRS, and phone).

I know some folks swear by Voice Command software, but it has never worked reliably for me. I think my voice just does not have the right tone or something. Probably 90% of the time I use Voice Commander it returns the wrong thing....and I have tried other Voice Command type software and get about the same result.
  • Does it turn on/off bluetooth with a single touch or does it open bluetooth manager?

David Gray: I was thinking the same thing. I've got Phoneweaver installed on the IPAQ 910c and the today screen plugin shows the bluetooth icon, along with a wifi, phone, and data (for GPRS/Edge/3G connections) right on the today screen page...It's beautiful and so very useful.

This sounds great, but I have been using togglebth for the last six months that works great too.

I don't understand the facination with putting stuff in the Start menu. Why not use the Voice Command feature? I have VC assigned to PTT button. I renamed togglebth.exe to BLUE.exe and put in My Device->Windows->Start Menu.

When I leave a meeting, I turn the phone on, press PTT and say "Start Blue". If BT is Off, it turns On. If BT is On, it turns it Off. No muss, no fuss. No fumbling with menus and multiple key clicks.

Ya know, you may or may not be interested in this, but I'd check out SBSH's PHONEWEAVER app. Talk about saving clicks and still having access.....!
