MobileJaw Mike Temporale from Mobile Jaw talks about how some Windows Mobile devices are configured to show the menu items prefixed with a number and other devices will use a letter of the alphabet. Mike said that typically, devices with a front facing keyboard are using the letter option and candy-bar phones are display the number option.  On the BlackJack II, Samsung changed the number layout to 1 number to 1 key and switched the menu to the letter format and he does not care for it because he finds it faster and easier to navigate the menu’s using numbers and not letters.

So Mike has a solution for you to switch the layout to reflect your preference by making a little change in the registry.

Want to find out how?  If so then break out your registry editor of choice and click this link to see Mike’s fix
