Was the wait worth it? Well, as I already use Windows Live to sync contacts and email, Google Sync to sync my calendar, and Live Mesh for everything else, it wasn't anything new, and indeed is a whole lot less flexible. If you are still using only local sync, however, it may be a good first step to storing your data on line.
