		<description>baa.  less restrictive drm is still drm.  The kindle 2 has the ability to read the text but some publishers are going to turn that feature off for you.  I&#039;d rather buy from a non-drm fair use source like Baen books webscription so I can do as I please.  rtf preferably but pdf if I have to.  My family has paperbacks 40-50 years old.  Who knows where the kindle is going to be by then?  But if I&#039;m still alive in 50 years from now I&#039;ll still have my ebooks at ninety-three and the e-reciepts to say they&#039;re mine.</description>

It seems like an easy way to get people hooked on Kindle books.  Plus, if users find reading more difficult than they&#039;d like, it might provide an incentive to upgrade to a real Kindle.
