Area Mobile posted some comparison photos of the hot, newly announced HTC Touch Pro 2. This is the one I am waiting for. Some of these photos are a but blurry, but you get the picture. (no pun intended). There are more photos on their website too, so check out Area Mobile.

    Lyian,
I think the Touch HD form factor looks great too, but my understanding is that it won't work with 3G networks in the US. Wouldn't that stop you?

I am turned off by the fact that there's no 3.5 jack on it. Ill stick with getting the Touch HD. Having a real keyboard isnt as important with the onscreen keyboard available as a 3.5 jack is vs having to get an adapter or some sort.

I have a bluetooth stereo converter, but the sound quality isn't as good as if you were to plug directly into the device, plus it would use up more battery power.

i personally prefer the touch pro 2, i think its a more aesthetically appealing device, and the x1 even though it shares the same resolution is , the screen space is too small and i don't like the x1's tiles...AT ALL. (but that's just me) Also prefer the flushed screen to the recessed screen.
  • With my Zune :)

I don't use my phones as a media player personally. Even the couple months I used the iPhone, I rarely used the iPod portion.

I know some do, and I forget to think about that. So yeah, that sucks. :(

    Chris -
Are you at all turned off by the fact that this phone does not have a port for a standard audio jack? How will you listen to your MP3s & video?
