I like devices and I really like small devices that are just a little bigger than what we carry around in our pockets everyday.  I thoroughly enjoyed my Nokia N800 (and still do) but the thought of a similar device running Microsoft’s software is very appealing to me.  Check out this device from Samsung that was shared yesterday and note carefully a Windows flag located at the bottom left.  That caught my attention!

The details shared of the unannounced SWD-M100 Mondi mobile Wimax device were sparse but what we do know is the Mondi has a touch screen and can access the Internet via Clear’s mobile Wimax network. As you can see, there is slide out keyboard, a QWERTY keyboard and a D-pad located in the lower left side. I can just see it now, relaxing in my easy chair, checking my email, doing a little “twittering”, surfing the net and watching TV with my family …. ah, life could be very good!

According to PhoneScoop, Samsung claims it is the first handheld Wimax device in the U.S.  I like it, I sure hope it comes to market, and I hope they are smart enough to include FEATURES that will make us lust over this device.
