Today I found a new video of GPS Tuner v6.0 in action!
In this latest leaked video, we get to see a lot more of the features and functions at work, such as playing back an NMEA recording at what looks to be 4x normal speed, and a better view of the 3D capabilities of the program.
I can’t wait for the release candidate!

Good grief man … I just [finally] upgraded my system to Vista, am thinking about going to Windows 7 when they release it and now you’re talking about Windows 8? So it would seem, according to this article published in Redmond Magazine.
Obviously Version 8 would be several years away but sometimes this gets crazy. For some reason I thought I read somewhere else that Windows 7 was going to be the last major release...

Yesterday, there was a lot of buzz about this “Project Pink” phone thing. This was some rumor swirling around that Microsoft was making something for Verizon that many assumed might be a “Zune Phone” that so many have expected over the last couple years. Well, John Starkweather from Microsoft put out the following late last night…

Service Pack 2 (SP2) for the 2007 Microsoft Office system was announced yesterday by Microsoft. The service pack includes major performance enhancements for Office applications, most notably Microsoft Office Outlook, as well as Microsoft Office SharePoint Server. One big benefit is SP2’s boost to interoperability — with this release, Office supports additional built-in file formats such as PDF and ODF.

According to news published today at MSFN, some of the copies leaked of W7 RC are infected with Trojans, something that does not surprise me at all.
Various torrents of the Windows 7 RC have been infected with a Trojan that, if allowed to run successfully, could open a security hole in a user’s system. The affected torrents have the setup.exe install file encapsulated in a self-extracting archive, along with an installer...

Frank posted about 1 million T-Mobile G1s being sold, but Sascha Segan at PC Magazine is beginning to worry whether Android is already a failure. He bases his claims on a couple of points.
First, there are only two Android phones available — the T-Mobile G1 and the HTC Magic (which is similar to the G1 without a keyboard). That’s not a great variety for a platform touted as being so flexible. ...

I just received an Extended 2200 mAh Battery for my T-Mobile G1. I have not ran any special tests but the original battery was a 1150 mAh one so do the math, 1.91 more battery life. And this is one of the good things that I love from my G1, I can change the battery freely no like another very popular phone that you all know.
Here are a few pictures of this battery.
