On the other hand, there are some amazing games and apps which completely blow me away – since the platform is very strong.

For example – you have tons of Tower Defense games, most of them are bad, but there is one which is one of the best games I've ever played (including PC) – and extremely addictive (FieldRunners – link below) – so it's true that it took me maybe 10 games to download and immediately delete, but this one you will not see in any other mobile platform, I'm sure.

In fact, I recall WM advocates back in the early days arguing that it wasn't quantity but quality that counted.
