Hands On With The HTC Snap

closeThis post was published 7 months 28 days ago which may make its actuality or expire date not be valid anymore. This site is not responsible for any misunderstanding.

Thin and light. That’s all you need to know about the Snap. Seriously. I got some more time with this hot HTC Windows Mobile Smartphone that HTC announced today. I think this is going to be quite hot. Think about how hot the Dash could have been, throw some more experience at making smartphones in, and Windows Mobile and you a serious contender to the Nokia E71, the BlackJack devices, and even the Blackberries. Anyhow, here are a few photos I grabbed today.

  • Mark Miller
The shape reminds me of the T-Mobile Dash.
  • the colorful pics look mod! i like them. :-)

if you do head back for more on the snap, could you confirm if the device has a shiney or matte finish? rubberized surface? also, if you are able to, can you take a few shots of the keyboard close-up and different screens (wifi controls?)

finally (and if this isn't too confrontational) could you ask why the snap has such low megapixel camera?

    many thanks!
  • Sorry. Still out of floor. The greenish snap photos were taken behind a HTC greenish backlit sign. I thought it would come out much nicer. I have a private meeting tomorrow, I will take more then.
  • is the presentation area on the screen smaller than on the blackjack? or are the snap's dimensions maybe a bit larger than the blackjack?
  • Whoa, what happened to the white balancing? :D
