If not for the annual money dump April 15th has become, I would jump all over this since I actually want one of these pretty bad. Unwired View (via) is reporting that the Touch Pro 2 will set  you back $887 usd and the Diamond 2 will cost around $726 usd from Singapore.

HTC’s just announced that an unlocked Pro2 will set Singaporeans back S$1,328 ($887), while a Diamond2 will hit ‘em up for S$1,088 ($726) — a little more than in Taiwan, but probably close to what we’ll see off-contract in the States.

You can grab an unlocked Touch Pro 2 from your favorite importer real soon I assume. The Diamond 2 is out there, so I can only expect the Touch Pro 2 shortly.

If ATT does get it, they will likely rip out the front cmos camera.. they like to do that for some reason. I might try to get the unlocked, not sure yet.
  • How to hard reset Pro2?

What do you guys think this will go for with a contract re-up at sprint? Opinions? Guesses? I'm definitely getting one. Cannot wait. I belive Sprint was the first one to get the Touch Pro stateside. Right? Here's to hoping they will with this too. My Diamond is beat to hell.
  • good point ike :)
  • The big question is how much of the Touch Pro 2 would be lost on an AT&T network? What features would there simply be no internal drivers?
