I always try to keep up with times in regards to my websites. Many of you are well aware of that, but some of the newer readers around here might not remember how much I put into all this. The main reason for that is that I have gotten busy and/or lazy the last year or so. Well, I binge and purge and these last couple days, I have been binging…

The main things that I have done are all social. I got back involved with Twitter myself, on a personal level. I changed up the look of my personal blog and now I am here to spruce up my main site, Mobilitysite! I started with a little project I have been considering for a while. I decided to install Disqus on my personal blog to handle comments as a test and it’s doing fine, so I imported all 10k comments from our database into Disqus and it’s in place here.

What’s so special about it? Well, it offers some features that that the default Wordpress install does not. Threaded comments, better security, but most importantly, it allows you to bridge one account across any blog using the same system. I have it installed on my personal blog, Judie has it installed over at Gear Diary, and there are 1000’s of other sites using it too. Play around with it and you’ll see why I like it.

Other than the comments, I just cleaned up a bit, but I have more in store in the next couple weeks!
