omnia-proSeems like everyone is coming out with “X Device Pro” versions. Touch Pro, Propel Pro, etc… Well, a blog called hdblog.it is claiming some exclusive knowledge of a Samsung Omnia Pro in the works now.

I know many feel the Omnia is one of the best Windows Mobile Phones that has come out in quite some time, but I don’t like it as much as others. Mainly because I prefer a physical keyboard of some sort. If this rumor is true, this would be an ultra hot phone for me. That keyboard does look nice. I am not sold on the photo to the right though, The Zune like interface leads me to believe that it’s not real. It might be, but I am just a tad apprehensive about it. Not to mention that the rumor says it’s running Windows Mobile 6.1. They say that the Samsung Omnia Pro comes with a sliding QWERTY keyboard and a 3.5-inch WVGA touch screen.

  • Yup efjay got it right. Thats just WM6.5, though I don't know how much I like the new stuff they are adding. How is it even possible for microsoft to be so out of tune with its user base? ;)
  • efjay
That interface is just WM 6.5 which the phone is rumoured to be upgradable to after release.
