Solar and Waterproof!

it looks like this AU Green Road Project and its waterproof, solar powered device might become a reality.

Scheduled for a June release, AU (KDDI) and Sharp will introduce this phone in Japan.  An embedded solar panel will recharge the phone on the go and if placed in direct sunlight for up to 10 minutes will give up to 1 minute of communication or 2hrs on standby. Not bad!  Oh, BTW, did I say it’s also waterproof too?
