nokia-e71x-ofcThis is going to be a SUPER HOT seller for AT&T, let me tell you. At $99 subsidized, I can not imagine it not doing well. This thing is ultra thin, has a full QWERTY, and it’s a Nokia. Nokia is not too popular here at Mobilitysite because it’s not running WinMo, but I have so many “regular” friends that love anything Nokia puts out. I had the opportunity to get some hands on with this one last month and other than the OS being a tad foreign to me, I was thoroughly impressed. In the hand, the E71x feels fragile, but I was given a demo to show otherwise. It’s thin and strong.

Engadget is reporting this morning that this phone is on AT&T’s site and ready for public consumption…

As was revealed a little over a month ago, pricing comes in at just $99.99 on contract after rebate, which seems like a steal for a device with this level of capability and sex appeal. Of course, you’ll need to be okay with S60 3.2 — but if you can get past that, you’ve got a gorgeous all-metal shell, full QWERTY, HSDPA, 3.2 megapixel cam, and WiFi waiting for you.

Head over to AT&T to pick this one up.

I think it's broader than Nokia not being too popular at this site. From U.S. smart phone numbers I've seen, Symbian OS phones aren't very popular in the United States, even though they're still #1 worldwide. Go figure.
