Here is a very neat free download for users of the Samsung Omnia and the Samsung Epix.  For some reason, the Bluetooth icon does not appear on the task bar when it is activated but not to worry folks because the folks at CareAce have decided to develop a patch to display the Bluetooth icon when Bluetooth is activated.

There is also another very addition to their little application. They have included adjusted the icon for when the Bluetooth transmission is visible or not by utilizing the letter v right next to the Bluetooth icon.

The video below shows the patch at work. Give it a try, I think you will like it!

You can download this application here at CareAce

  • It sounds somewhat useful, but I'd much rather see them display a headset icon if my Bluetooth headset is connected. My Motorola Qs did that, but I'm not sure if that was something added by the Broadcom/Widcomm Bluetooth stack.
