Google has announced that by the end of 2009 we are going to see 19 devices with Android. The HTC Hero is one of Them.

The golden days of Windows mobile are gone and the iPhone kingdom is about to end.

I think that's a bit much on the hype. While some people would certainly argue the golden days of Windows Mobile are gone, let's wait and see how WM 7 does. And there will probably always be Apple fan boys who will stick with the iPhone no matter if Android (or WM or WebOS) is "better".

Happy iphone user here who will happily switch to Android if it can do what I want. Here's a tip HTC. Put a regular headphone jack onto every phone.
  • Sheer Volume doesn't make you king of anythig, just ask Creative about their mp3 players.
  • Yes, and 19 models doesn't really even say anything about volume, either. GM has lots of models of cars and look where they are. Or, more to the point (as I mentioned last week), Windows Mobile probably has many more than 20 models a year, and people still criticize it harshly.
