DEAR LONELY IPHONE IN MY DESK DRAWER, Now is the time. I will be charging up the iPhone tonight just to play Lemonade Tycoon. Yesterday, I was amazed to see Tiger Woods golf make it to the iPhone, but this is the kicker. I won’t be slapping my sim card in the iPhone, but I am gonna charge up, buy Tiger and Lemonade Tycoon and throw it in my gear bag for the down times.

Lemonade Tycoon was the 1st game that really grabbed my attention during the early Pocket PC days. It’s now available on the iPhone. I am so happy. Simple things in life make me happy I guess.

According to IntoMobile, Lemonade Tycoon was made a freebie too! Wow. One drawback is that since it’s free, interrupts the game at points to ask what sounds like survey questions. Maybe demographics or something. I dunno.

I downloaded the app and love it, but it is ad supported. That would be fine - after all, the app is free, but the ads pop up too frequently and they are intrusive - you have to click on the ad and then deliberatly choose a "NO THANKS" kind of button to dismiss the ad each time. This really interferes with the flow of the game, making it a little less enjoyable.

I'm all for ad-funded games standing side-by-side with paid games, but they need to be a little more creative and less "blunt force trauma" in their approach.
  • Nice, another popular game released on Iphone, it is good because some of the top game developers out there are starting to develop games for iphone. Mostly game in iphone are small companies.

I wonder how that would compare to my old CPM/Commodore 64 greenscreen version?
