After what seems like 14 years worth of leaks, rumors, tweets and snotty comments from iPod users, Microsoft has finally officially announced the Zune HD, the newest addition to the Zune media player lineup. The HD refers to HD Radio reception, one of the key new features of the device, cleverly avoiding having to call the thing a ZuneTouch or something similar since after all, the new feature we are ALL looking forward...

Yes, AT&T will be selling soon an Android phone, the HTC Lancaster. A few days ago I read the news about T-Mobile selling iPhones and now this news. Coincidence?
AT&T is getting an Android-powered phone after all. Behold the HTC Lancaster with a striking resemblance to the HTC Magic when closed and looks a lot more like the Touch Pro in form factor for a QWERTY slider than the T-Mobile G1.
HTC Lancaster Android...

The day has finally come. Chris Stephenson has confirmed the Zune Hd, and has a bit to share before E3. This player will feature an HD radio tuner, internet explorer web browser, an OLED screen, and has HD output. Their will be much more news to come at E3. Zune will be expanding to European markets as well.
(and for anyone who cares, notice how the menu is now lower case, unlike the previous leaked image)
The software...
Just a few minutes ago I came across an article, Zune Comes to Xbox Live in UK. Plus: ZuneHD to hit US. Now, I don’t know how reliable this website is(I do doubt it’s legitimacy), but the writer has said,
Zune, Microsoft’s ‘end-to-end music and entertainment service’ is coming to Xbox Live. Later today the mega-corp will officially announce its plans, which – although intriguing...
As many of you saw, I was at the Indianapolis 500 this weekend. It was hot and muggy and the seats were packed however this was one of the best races I have seen in a few years. A few days before this app came out I was just saying how it would be amazing if they came out with an Indy 500 application for the iPhone. Part one will be what I was hoping it would be and how those expectations and hopes...

Wow. This is a huge leak, It’s provided a ton of info for WinMo fans and I haven’t even read all the info available for non WInMo phones yet. So much info this week. Here is another one, the LG Herald (GW600). This one looks simple and to the point too.
The 1st thing to note is the reasonable OS and dates. It has an interesting 20 key keyboard instead of a full qwerty. Quite interesting really. This wouldn’t...

This would be awesome! I will probably wait for a completed, release version, but there seems to be a beta going on over at WLW.Codeplex.com to create this to work with Windows Mobile 6 and beyond. If you don’t know what Windows Live Writer is, it’s a really nice blog publishing software package that 99% of the posts you read here at Mobilitysite are created with. It’s free, powerful, and just an all...
Maybe so, but I doubt seriously it will be around the time they suggest in the leaked AT&T slide. September? Wow. That is lofty. I think Chris at Engadget said it best, “…but seeing we’ll be lucky to have 6.5 devices in our hands by then, this date has undoubtedly slipped since the slide was made” No way possible in my opinion. That’s not really the point though, the point is that we...

I caught this over at Giz this morning on the way out the door and bookmarked it to read later. While I was getting a “round tooit”, Nate shot me an email linking a ZuneScene story claiming to have gotten some info about a Zune Upgrade plan from their sources. Well, I don’t know otherwise, so like other rumors, we’ll roll with them…
The upgrade plan is for Zune owners who want more capacity,...

Woohoo. I am about to order a device from a well know importer, Clove Technology. This will be the 1st time in 2-3 years I have ordered something early instead of waiting for a US version. I can’t help myself, I am really excited about this one and I have a feeling that the AT&T version is going to be down the road a little further than I want. I will be placing an order with Clove Technology today.
So we have...

Talk about a surprise for all, right? I have pretty much written Dell and HP out of the Smartphone game after all these years. If you are new to Mobilitysite, it is a mixture of a merge of Mobilitysite, iPaqHQ, and Aximsite, among others. There are still quite a few iPAQ and Axim questions that get answered in our forums too. In the past, I have been real critical of HP and how long it takes them to get devices to market....

I had to take a break from my family vacation in Thibodaux, Lousisana to post on this hot info that Engadget posted this evening. Hot Hot Hot news… It seems that the HTC Touch Pro 2 and Touch Diamond 2 are in fact making it to AT&T sooner or later. Now, we knew it would happen, but knowing for sure that it is coming is really good for some. Of course, PR Agencies and Companies probably don’t like us to...

1st gen iPhone: check
iPhone 3G: check and double check
Crackberries: check
It may be a hot day here at Indianapolis Motor Speedway but 80 and humid isn’t enough to stop the iPhones from coming out to enjoy the race with their owners. What the iPhone has done for technology is amazing. I’m typing this in the stands via the Wordpress iPhone client and I’m following timing with my copy of IndyCar mobile....

Technology continues to sneak it’s way into every aspect of our daily lives, including our personal religious beliefs. There have been applications on most all mobile platforms to provide religious readings or instruction in many different faiths for quite some time now.
However, now the Vatican has kicked the level of electronic observance up a notch by apparently making the Pope utterly wired, debuting a brand new...

Here is a very simple to use device that gives you data transfer on the go. Called the Mobidapter, this very unique USB Memory adapter for mobile devices allows you to transfer files between your device and a USB stick wherever you are without using a PC. The video below shows files being transferred and BTW, they can be viewed on your device while stored on the USB stick.
It is...

Here’s your chance to score a free Palm Treo Pro from the retailer than I used to always poke fun at for being extremely over priced, Expansys. Jason says it’s an easy contest too! I won’t ruin the surprise, but if you get it wrong, I will be very disappointed.
The Treo Pro is still a great device even today. When I reviewed this one, I had a hard time deciding if I wanted to buy one or not. Ultimately,...
